Wordle is a tool that I absolutely love! It allows creativity in the classroom. This particular wordle was based off of a google document over technology in the classroom. After we were done we were to submit it into the wordle machine and it comes up with this. There are many designs and tools that you can use to create what you want specifically. But one thing that this tool does is highlight what the writer focuses on. This was not my first time to use wordle and I learned from before that the more you write a word the more focus is put on it. This particular wordle showed what I focused most on. I thought that was extremely neat and the best part of this whole experience.
I think that this particular activity would fall under both the active and cooperative characters of meaningful learning. It provides a hands on experience for the students as well as can be used to work with others. If you assigned a project for two students to come up with a creative way to present a topic this would be a great tool to suggest for them to use.
I know that in the future I will use this to help my students to explore their own creativity. After a long time of research and writing a paper or even learning how to write words. I we will submit their work into it and let them see what it can do.
