Google document is a tool that allows communication as well as input and contribution on topics from others. I have had a Google account for a while and have yet to explore all the tools that are avaliable to me, however after being introduced to this I fully plan to become more aware of the tools avaliable.
This particular document was one that we did in class, it covered information over technology and materials that we had covered and workded with.
This document allowed each of us to contribute our ideas and thoughts and combine it into a document over the same topics.
This I feels falls into the cooperative and constructive characters of meaningful learning, as well as authentic and intentional. This allows students to do basic research, as well as record and document prior information into a piece of work that they can share with others.
This document also could be used to encourage the students to work together as a team. If you assign the students a group project this would be a great tool for them to contribute as well as put their final project together on and submit it as one.
